Buying for more than one school? See the district platform

Four things your hero image can't show you.

Every school-site vendor prints the same seven bullet points. Here is what actually changes when your website and your app are one platform.

The Design Difference

Six designs. Not one template with the colors swapped.

Every school-site vendor ships one layout and lets you change the header color. We build six genuinely different, art-directed designs — different structure, different typography, different rhythm — then theme each one to your school's brand with about fifty design tokens. Two schools on our platform can look nothing alike.

Photo-forward

Full-bleed imagery, editorial overlap. For campuses that photograph well.

Editorial

News leads. Strong typographic hierarchy for schools that communicate constantly.

Warm elementary

Friendly geometry, brighter palettes — executed with precision, not clip art.

Institutional

Restrained and confident. Classic type, generous whitespace.

Civic modern

Clean grid, bold type, high contrast. Built for large public schools.

Neo-brutalist

Heavy borders, hard shadows, unapologetic color. For a school that wants to be remembered.

Your colors are data, not code.

Change them once and everything re-themes instantly — every page, the mobile app, the header, the footer. A rebrand takes an afternoon, not a redesign project. And because contrast-safe pairings are enforced by the system, a school can't accidentally choose its way into an accessibility failure.

Our work, live right now

Don't take our word for it. Click one.

Real school sites we build and run — elementary schools, high schools, a district, and a citywide nonprofit. Same team, no two alike. That's the whole argument, and it takes ten seconds to check.

Spotlight

One school, running the whole platform.

Grady High School runs everything on this page — its own domain, its own design, its own app — and the school manages the content itself. It has been in the App Store since 2022.

An app with your school's name on it. Not ours.

We've built 500+ school websites and apps — including branded school apps live across the App Store and Google Play, many for New York City public schools, some since 2022. This isn't a roadmap item. It's a fleet we've been operating for years.

Your name and icon on the home screen

Not a generic district app families have to search inside to find you.

Publish once. Live in both.

The app shows the same content as your website, so nothing is ever maintained twice.

Works with no signal

Pages families have already opened still open — in a packed gym, in a dead-zone parking lot.

iOS and Android, submitted and maintained by us

Store listings, review cycles and platform updates are our job, not your office manager's.

One message. Every family. Every language.

Your office manager publishes a closure in about thirty seconds — website and app at once, in every language a family in your building reads.

Alerts that can't be missed

A site-wide banner for closures and delays, plus a home-page popup for the days that really matter.

A calendar that lands on the phone

Every event taps straight into a parent's own phone calendar. Half-days, picture day, early dismissal.

36 languages, on every page

One control, in each language's own script, with right-to-left support. No per-page work, no cost per language.

Included on every page, every school

Why ours is different

The stock translate widget most vendors bolt on fails accessibility audit — unlabeled dropdown, untitled frames, low-contrast chrome. It's one of the first things a WAVE or axe scan flags, and it's frequently why a site that "looks fine" fails. We suppress it entirely and ship our own accessible control.

Everything you need.
Nothing you don't.

The complete ecosystem designed for the unique demands of schools and districts. We handle the heavy lifting so you can focus on education.

Sixteen content sections, ready on day one

Quick contact — tap to call, tap for directions

Alerts & popups — for the days that matter

About & custom pages — as many as you need

Native Mobile Apps

iOS and Android included as standard, branded to your school and submitted by us. Part of 500+ school websites and apps we've built.

A real form builder

Registrations, permission slips, absence reports, volunteer sign-ups — with file uploads, email to up to four addresses, CSV export, and embedding anywhere.

Accessibility, and the proof

Built to WCAG 2.1 AA in the design system itself — plus automated checks we can run against your live site and hand you the output.

Maintained by us

Hosting, your domain, SSL, security patches, 24/7 uptime monitoring, nightly backups and store submissions are included — not billed by the hour. Your 30 included support hours cover content and design work you'd rather hand off.

Content & Visual Assets

Professional copywriting, full content migration from your old site, promotional video production, and staff photography. Images are optimized automatically on upload — nobody on your staff needs to know what WebP is.

Analytics you own

See what families actually open. First-party — no third-party trackers run on your families' browsers.

Private staff area

Optional. Staff type their school email and get a link — no password to forget. Announcements, staff calendar, documents and resources.

Brand New 2026 CMS

Managed for you, or do it yourself. Switch whenever.

Some schools want to publish everything themselves. Some want to email us and have it done. Most want both, depending on the week. You're not locked into either — and the price doesn't change when you change your mind.

Brand New 2026 CMS

Effortless Updates. Instant Results.

Your office manager logs in, types the snow-day alert, and clicks Publish. It's live in seconds — on the website and in the app. No tickets, no vendor, no waiting until Monday.

Admin Dashboard
The Schoolz CMS editor, showing the fields a school administrator fills in

The Editor

Forms, not markup. There's no way to break the layout.

Live Website
The same content live on the school's public website moments later

The Result

Pushed instantly to your website and app, on every device.

Drag-and-drop navigation

Including dropdown menus. Reordering never touches page content.

Images fixed automatically

Resized and converted on upload, so a 12 MB phone photo can't slow your site down.

A media library that protects you

It cross-checks every file against the pages using it and refuses to delete anything still on the site.

Undo, at the row level

Every change is recorded — what changed, when, by whom — and we can put it back.

Answers for your data-privacy review.

No family accounts. No student information system sync. No rosters, no grades, no attendance. When a school collects information through a form, that submission is stored under per-school database permissions, visible only to that school's administrators, and exportable or deletable on request. We sign district data-protection agreements and complete your review process.

Enforced in the database

Most platforms hide the buttons you shouldn't press. We enforce access at the data layer — a school administrator cannot reach another school's data even with developer tools open.

We assume your old site is compromised

Compromised school websites are routine. When we import your content we take text only — every image reference, script, piece of markup and insecure link is stripped before anything is stored.

Every uploaded file is inspected

Family attachments land in a private area nobody can read, are checked byte-by-byte against their declared type and screened for active content before an administrator can open them.

Spam filtering that flags, never deletes

A suspicious registration still appears in your dashboard. "The spam filter ate it" is not an acceptable answer to a family that registered.

Backed up nightly, off-site

Full backups every night to encrypted storage, plus a complete record of every administrative change — enough to say what happened and to put it back.

We usually know before you call

Crashes and slow pages report themselves into a dashboard we watch. No third-party monitoring script runs on your families' browsers.

How this compares to what you have now.

Scroll the table sideways on a small screen.

Launch in under 2 weeks. You write almost nothing.

The reason website projects drag on for a year is content migration — the vendor asks the school to rewrite its own site. We don't ask.

  1. 1

    Send us a link

Your current website address, and your logo file if you have it. That's the whole ask.

  2. 2

    We rebuild it — free

Within 48 hours you get a private preview link to a real, themed, working site built from your existing content. Still no commitment.

  3. 3

    Choose the look

Pick a design, set your colors, upload photos. One call to adjust layout and navigation with you.

  4. 4

    Domain and go-live

We connect your existing web address and update your app listing. Training is 30 minutes, and it's recorded.

On your domain — because this is where schools get burned

Some vendors take over your domain's name servers to simplify their own setup — which is exactly what breaks school email. We never do that. We add the two records we need at your registrar, and you keep the keys.

The questions schools actually ask.

We just signed with someone else.
Tell us when your contract ends and we'll send a free rebuild of your site a month before renewal. Compare them side by side then, with no pressure in between.
Who actually updates it?
Whoever answers the phone in your office — or us. You choose, you can do both, and you can change your mind without changing your price.
What happens to our current content?
We import it. That's included, not a professional-services line item. You review it on a private preview link before anything goes live.
Will we lose our web address or our email?
No. You keep your domain and your registrar, and your email is untouched. We add two DNS records — we never take over your name servers.
Do families have to download an app?
No. Everything works in a browser first. The app is for the families who want your school on their home screen — and in our experience that's most of them.
Is this accessible enough for our compliance requirements?
WCAG 2.1 AA is designed into the platform rather than added at the end. Ask us on the call and we'll run our automated checks against your live site and hand you the output.
What if we leave?
Your content is yours and exports on request, in a documented format. No hostage clause, no per-export fee.
We have more than one school.
Districts get shared alerts, one district calendar that merges into every school's calendar, and a single dashboard across all schools — while each school keeps its own look and its own domain. See the district platform →
